TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION AND RE-REGISTRATION
The parents must agree to the Terms and Conditions of Registration and Re-registration set out below. The parents must also agree, on their child’s behalf, to abide by all policies and procedures, especially Homework Policy, Attendance Policy, Rewards and Sanctions Policy and School Uniform Policy.
Registration and re-registration must be conducted through the Principal who will confirm if a vacancy exists.
Prior to registration the student must pass an interview with the Test Coordinator, which will involve short tests. A copy of the student’s most recent school report must be provided.
The parent shall pay a non-refundable deposit of Rs 200 on registration or Rs 500 on re-registration. If the parents decide that their child should not attend the school or continue the school year they are not entitled to a refund of the registration or re-registration fees.
The level of fees for each academic year is determined by the Education Department of Tamilnadu Government. If a student is registered before the date upon which the fees for the next academic year are announced, the fees due will be at the levels determined subsequent to the date of registration.
The parents shall pay full school fees during the beginning of the year. The late payment of a term fees will incur an administration charge of Rs 50 per day, per student.
If the student is unable to start school on the first day of the school year, the school must be notified in writing prior to the first day of the school year. In such a case the parents must have paid the first day of the school year.
If the school has not received any notification of a late start in writing to the administration department, or by email to fatimaschool@gmail.com, or if notification has been received and the term fees has not been paid, the student will be deemed to be not attending, the student’s place will be lost and any deposit will be forfeit. Should the parents still wish their child to attend the school after this period, it will be necessary for the parents to begin the registration procedure again. The result of this may be that there is no place for the student. If the first Term has been paid. The place shall be reserved only if there is no due.
The parents are not entitled to a refund of the first instalment and the school has the right to claim the first instalment, if the student started to attend the school, even for one day, during this period.
The parents are not entitled to avoid any term payment if their child is unable to attend the school, unless the school is notified in writing at least six weeks prior to the date of the any term fee is due.

In the case of a full year’s fees being paid in advance, the place will be reserved for the whole of the school year. If a parent gives at least six weeks’ notice that their child will not be attending school after that, we will refunded less an administration fee of Rs 500.
Parents are required by submit the medical records of their child at the time of initial registration if any critical illness or special attention needed. The school will not be responsible for any problem occurred due to that.
If a student does not fulfil the academic requirements to move to the next year, the school will require the student to repeat the failed year. Should the student fail the year again the school reserves the right to refuse re-registration.
If a student fails a year and has already been re-registered, parents wishing to withdraw their son/daughter from the school will need to pay administration fee of Rs 500.

If a student does not fulfil the school’s behavioral requirements, then subject to the pursuance of appropriate procedures, the school will refuse registration. If the student has already been reregistered parents will receive a refund any payment.
Whilst every care is taken to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students, parents shall not hold the school liable for injuries resulting from accidents occurring whilst their child is in the care of the school, either on or off campus.
The parents accept that the school shall not be held responsible or liable for the loss of or damage to any item brought into the school.
Photographs of students often feature in the press and in school publications as part of the marketing of the school. If parents do not wish their child’s photograph to appear, a written request must be submitted to the Principal every academic year.
The parents confirm that all the information presented in support of the application is complete and accurate and that there are no issues of an academic, behavioral or medical nature that have not been disclosed.
The parents accept that the school reserves the right to require a student to leave if, subsequent to the submission of an application and the signing of The Terms and Conditions of Registration and Re-registration, information is discovered or disclosed that would have led to the rejection of that
